Digitally enhanced photography

Photography freezes and captures life moments, it records our intimate interaction with the world around us through vision. But it only captures what's in front of us, what the eye can perceive. Yet complete existence expand beyond the facts of reality, and so I add texture and colour and more life to images to expand our sensory interaction beyond what our eyes can perceive.  Below are a few examples of my collection about the city of Birmingham. As the old industrial heartland, the city has been perceived as lacking vibrancy and colour, so I added some to a great effect.
